The Salary Packaging program provides employees with the option to salary sacrifice a number of different items as part of their total remuneration package including work-related electronic equipment, professional memberships, superannuation and novated leases. Our Workplace Giving program also allows employees to reduce their taxable income while supporting a great cause.

Young Professionals Program

Our Young Professionals Program (YPP) provides early-career and graduate employees with structured support and development opportunities to build their knowledge and excel in their career.

YPP offers structured on-going training, support and a wide range of technical, professional and personal development opportunities. Apart from access to our exceptional training, support and coaching is provided through a supervisor and an appointed mentor, facilitated by a senior manager. The program is delivered nationally and brings together our graduate employees from across Australia to network with each other and our senior management team. 

Apprenticeships, Traineeships, Cadetships and Graduates

Watpac believes that our future success relies on providing opportunities to the next generation of leaders – our trainees, apprentices, cadets and graduates. Through our structured programs, these employees are able to fully participate in projects across the country and learn invaluable on-the-job skills. Apprentices, trainees, cadets and graduates are also eligible to participate in the Young Professionals Program. 

Traineeships, apprenticeships and graduate positions are advertised as they become available.  

Cadetships are organised through partner universities offering courses in construction or engineering. These roles are designed to work in line with a cadet’s existing study commitments. As part of the program, cadets put their learning into practice by performing a wide variety of tasks on real projects.
