Watpac is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and has mobilised a team to lead our ongoing response.

Our response measures are aligned with the advice provided by the Australian Government Department of Health, State Health Authorities and Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).

Continuing our operations

Watpac is continuing to operate and has issued information, advice and support to our people. This includes providing a dedicated Intranet page, support contacts and materials. Staff, clients and visitors are being encouraged to conduct meetings by phone or video conference, rather than face-to-face.

Sites remain open

All construction sites remain open and we are working closely with our supply chain to monitor any potential impact to construction projects.

Working remotely

We are supporting our people to work remotely where possible and encouraging the use of virtual meeting tools such as Skype.

All domestic travel is restricted to business-critical travel only and all international business travel is suspended until further notice.

Watpac is directing people to self-quarantine in line with latest Australian Government advice and mandatory requirements.
